This part of the Wakefield Prospectus website has been designed to give you all the basic information on the choices available after Year 11. The site aims to get you thinking about your future plans. Your Tutor, Connexions Personal Adviser and Careers Teacher are available to help you develop your ideas further and provide more detail about your specific choices. Make sure you use their expertise to guarantee you the best possible start to your career.

The site breaks into three parts:

• A job with training – if you have already decided that work is for you or you are considering apprenticeships or Entry to Employment (E2E) then go straight to this  section and follow the links for further information. There is a guide to help you think through all the options and make sure you have all the facts about your rights to continued training and qualifications. 
• Further study at college or sixth form – if you have made the decision to stay on in education and work towards more academic qualifications then go straight to this part of the site. Again there is a guide to help you think through all the options and some tools to help you explore the subjects and qualifications you could take.
  
• Still looking into my options – if you haven’t made up your mind yet, don’t panic! This part of the site has lots of tools to help you think through your options and make that decision! You can dip into any of the pages and try some of the ideas or work through all the different angles to help you build up a picture of what choices might suit you.
